OSSI, LLC is proud to announce the release of Intelli-Site 4!

Intelli-Site 4 AC - This is a maintenance release that improves quality, reliability, and performance.  All users are encouraged to upgrade to this release.

Intelli-Site 4 is a fully customizable integration platform that provides the integrator with tools to create interactive screens like a website. The screens provide the end-user with feedback on every detail of their system. An information manager queue offers the end-user one click operation when responding to an event or alarm.

Intelli-Site 4 AC is intended for access control only. Intelli-Site 4 is the fully featured PSIM product. Intelli-Site 4 AC can be upgraded to Intelli-Site 4. Contact your sales representative for more information.

  • Upgrading the Web Service:  The official name of the product is Intelli-Site 4. The renaming is handled by the installer with one minor exception. The web site for the previous version remains in IIS and requires a small amount of human intervention. The steps are:
    1. Before upgrading, run the Intelli-Site Configuration Utility.
    2. Stop the Engine Service, Driver Service, and Web Service.
    3. Exit the Configuration Utility.
    4. Install version 4.0.17.37.
The installer runs the Configuration Utility when complete. Notice that the Web Service state is "Unknown". This is what we are correcting by hand.
    5. Run IIS. (Be brave, it'll be OK.)
    6. In the Connections window, expand <computer name>->Sites->Default Web Site.
    7. If Intelli-Site exists, right-click on it and select Remove.
    8. In the Confirm Remove dialog, click [YES].
    9. Close IIS.
    10. In the Intelli-Site 4 Configuration Utility, click on the Setup services tile.
    11. Ensure Install Web Service is checked. **Note: Notice the exact URL is written here.
    12. Click [OK].
    13. Start all the Intelli-Site 4 Services.
  • The Web Service URL has changed: It is now "http://localhost/Intelli-Site4"
  • Transparent Screen Object changes:  Objects with a frame style of none and no fill are now truly transparent. The Card Data screen used in Access Management View in existing projects is affected. The labels for the Card Data group and the Activation group need a different frame style and must be updated by hand. The following details the steps.
      1. Login to the Desktop Client
      2. Switch to Design View
      3. In the Project Node Tree, expand Cardholder Control -> Card Data Screens -> Card Data
      4. Expand Card Data
      5. Right-click on Label and select Properties. The properties dialog will open.
      6. On the Properties tab, locate the Frame Style field.
      7. Select "Rectangle" from the drop-down menu.
      8. Click the [OK] button.
      9. Expand Card Activation
      10. Right-click on Label and select Properties. The properties dialog will open.
      11. On the Properties tab, locate the Frame Style field.
      12. Select "Rectangle" from the drop-down menu.
      13. Click the [OK] button.
